    Thanks for the tutorial, Brian. I have been geotagging for years, since my note taking has always been deficient. I use gps4can Pro on my iPhone plus HoudaGeo software, which produces a much simpler workflow. The iPhone battery seems to hold up pretty well. The software creates a UPC code at the end of the trip. I just photograph the UPC code and load that photo into HoudaGeo along with all of my other images. The key to this approach is to import the photo files to the drive first, geotag and then import the photos to my DAM software of choice. It works great.
