For the past few weeks, I’ve been heads down doing research on how to deliver a high quality live broadcast via Facebook’s fledgeling Live platform. I’ve already broadcasted several clips via my iPhone but the audio and video quality left much to be desired and there is a complete lack of any sort of controls for added production value. Fortunately, I figured out a solution that combines hardware and software, allowing me to produce my new broadcast focused on photo and tech related news called The Photo Show. I aired my first episode yesterday live on Facebook, which limits the broadcast resolution to 720p but I also locally recorded a copy at 1080p and will be storing those on my YouTube channel. As each new episode airs, I will add them to the blog for you to enjoy. Be sure to let me know what you think and if there’s anything you’d like to see added!
