What’s In My Bag #3 – The Big Island, Hawaii – Jan 2015

Alas, when a crazy Black Friday sale by Alaska Airlines presented itself to me, I was immediately curious. So you say that I can fly directly from Portland to Kona for $350 round trip? That definitely warrants a “Book Now” click. This trip will be different than most because it’s the first time that I’ll be putting a pair of Sony Action Cam PoV cameras to use while we trek around the island. I’m hoping to get some unique clips from inside and outside of the Jeep Wrangler that we rented along with coastal time-lapse shots.

In any case, I put this video together outlining what’s going in my bag and why. As always, if you have any questions, leave them in the comments! Aloha!

It’s the only island that I’ve been to so far and it’s where we honeymooned. After this trip, I suspect it’ll be high time to branch out. :)

I am really enjoying these whats in my bag videos of yours. Can’t wait to see what you do with the Sony Action Cams and see how you work in the field.

Brian, Great vid here. Some gear that I haven’t seen before. How do you geo tag you images? Is their some kind of synch from the Camera to the Garmin? Just found you blog and it full off great info. Can’t wait to check out your images.
