Ok – so you may have noticed that this photo wasn’t taken at Tetons. It was actually taken at Trillium Lake in Oregon during the sunrise a few weeks ago. However, my underlying point is that I’m going to be the guest instructor on an upcoming landscape workshop at Tetons National Park (Nicole will be joining, too!) . It’s shaping up to be an amazing time to get some pristine landscape photos and amazing astral photography (it’s set to be a new moon during the workshop, so there will be stars-a-plenty!).

On top of that, workshop instructors Rob Sylvan and Randy Van Duinen are giving away a free pass to a lucky winner. Just head on over here and sign up for their newsletter for a chance to win a spot! In addition to the winner’s spot, we have a few open spaces left. To register, click here.

As for this photo, it was taken with my Sony A7r and Sony FE 24-70 lens sitting atop my Really Right Stuff TVC-34L/BH-55 tripod . It was early enough where I didn’t need a filter to get this exposure. Editing was done primarily in Lightroom for this one.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Enjoy!
