I’ve been working on a number of new additions to my study called The Path of Least Resistance. This is part of a larger project that I’ve been working on in my spare time for almost two years now and am looking forward to bringing it to the next phase soon!

Whenever I’m out photographing waterfalls, oceans, rivers, or streams, I’m constantly on the hunt for these types of photos. They’re often overlooked for the main draw in the area but they shouldn’t be! There is so much simple beauty in observing the elegance of water in motion on a small scale.

I took this photo with my Sony A7 and used a lightFormatt-Hitech 3-stop ND filter to help get the shutter speed where I needed it to be (usually around 1/2 second). Stability came from using my Really Right Stuff TVC-34L sticks and BH-55 ballhead. Stylization was done in Analog Efex Pro 2, part of the+Nik Collection by Google.
