Herzlichen Glückwunsch, Deutschland! Großer Sieg!

Despite the rather anticlimactic final match of the FIFA World Cup, the solitary goal scored by Mario Gotze in extra-time play was beautifully struck. If you had to land a goal for your country’s win, that was a truly great way to do so. So with that, I want to send a big CONGRATULATIONS, GERMANY! on your monumental victory – enjoy your country’s celebrations! But know that we’ll be seeing you again in 2018. ;)

To commemorate Germany’s win today, I dug into my shoot in Berlin earlier this year. This is the famed Fernsehturm Berlin, a beautiful radio tower located near Alexanderplatz. I took a stroll around this area shortly before meeting up for lunch with my friend, +James Duncan Davidson and a few Wunderlist Android engineers. It was taken with my Sony A7 and Canon 24-70/2.8 II. Stylization was done in Analog Efex Pro 2, part of the Nik Collection by Google.
