Shortly before calling it quits for the evening, Trey Ratcliff and I decided to take our chances on getting access to the top floor of the nearby Shibuya Hotel Excel Tokyu for some high-in-the-sky photos of the framed Shibuya Crossing. This endeavor turned out to be easier than expected – all we did was strike up a quick chat with some English speaking hotel guests who were sympathetic to our cause. A few minutes later and we were perched against the window overlooking this crazy intersection.

I think we had about 20 minutes or so of solid photo-taking time before a security guard stumbled onto us, asked to see our hotel keycards, and then asked us to leave. At this point, we queued up our clueless tourist apologies and meandered back to the hotel elevators. All in a day’s work!
