Look how they shine for you

In case you weren’t able to join us live on The Grid yesterday with Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski, I announced a big update to the Nik Collection by Google with Analog Efex Pro 2 (I’ll link to the rebroadcast once it posts later today). One of the images that I worked on live was this one taken in Tasmania, Australia with Matt Glastonbury. I’m actually going to record a short video tutorial walking you through the process of how I achieved this look, so stay tuned.

On a side note, I’m posting this image as a small Happy Birthday wish to my very good friend, Alan Shapiro. I love Alan – he is a creative virtuoso who is brimming with a zest for life that is virtually unparalleled. He is a pillar of this fine Photos community and I value his contributions here very much. So, my friend, here’s to your day. I hope it is just the start of another year filled with health, happiness, love, and wild birds.

Thanks +Brian Matiash Feel the same way about you. Love how the fireflies do whatever you ask. (Not surprised though, given your considerable influence and popularity in this world of ours)
