I certainly didn’t give Hamburg its due on my recent visit there. One of my favorite things about the few hours spent roaming around the downtown area was turning a corner and being presented with a beautiful, regal church. The biggest challenge was figuring out ways to create compelling compositions and not just fill the frame with the entire structure. I really do find that limited your viewers to focus on a smaller part of the larger picture yields more curiosity and interest.

I had to create an image similar to this in an art class using charcoal. Very nice.
