This region of White Pocket, Vermillion Cliffs will now always have a special place in my heart. Whenever I think of wildly shifting and flowing geography, my mind will simply dart to this area. There is such contrarian notion with this location – how can a place be so rigid and hard while also having such poetic and fluid characteristics. This entire area is a positive fiesta for anyone who is interested in experiencing the diversity of our planet’s landscapes. It’s not often in my own experience that I can find a new photo to take simply by turning left or right by a few degrees. There really is something magical about this area and I’m already counting the days before I can return.

+Al Woodcock  I should probably qualify that comment!  This pic was taken moments before the sky lit up in one of the greatest light shows that I have ever seen.  Tongue in cheek comment!

You can't please all of the people all of the time. I like it, more light and the contrast levels would change, the cloud scape most likely be burnt out.
