Big Sur In Profile

By | 2014-02-08T10:45:29+00:00 Feb 8th, 2014|
You could set your tripod down at just about any location along the coast of Big Sur and find a gorgeous photo to take. On this particular day, as +Chris Lazzery and I explored the coast along Big Sur, the waves were coming in pretty strong, creating these lovely whitecaps. In terms of long exposure photography of water, whitecaps are one of your best friends because they add color contrast and provide a sense of directionality of the waves. For this particular photo, I added a bit of stylization using Nik Analog Efex Pro and Lightroom.
