I didn’t really want to do much of anything today. I’m still fighting all sorts of odd jet lag from Australia but I think I’m at the tail end of it. Still, the prospect of doing absolutely nothing today sounded perfect. Nicole S. Young and Brian Bonham had other things to say about that. The three of us drove out to the Washington side of the Gorge to a quaint area that Nicole found during her research. The place is called Steep Creek Falls and was a perfect place for us to kill about two hours. The falls (I’ll share those on another post) and these adjacent streams were very convenient as they were located right off the the road. Just some scurries down a few dirt hills and long exposure paradise awaits.

All in all, it’s rare when I actually regret being cajoled on a shoot and I’m really thankful that these two gave me the necessary push.

The stylization was first achieved using one of Nicole’s Lovely Landscape Lightroom 4 presets. Finishing touches were then applied and here’s what you have left.
