There is something quite magical about waking up in a storybook forest, shrouded in a very thin veil of fog. When I woke up on Curringa Farm in Hamilton, Tasmania, Australia and looked outside, I immediately grabbed my camera, threw on some clothes, and started strolling. Everywhere you turned, there were gum trees and rolling hills being painted on a canvas with the fog and mist. It was one of the most peaceful and beautiful sights I can remember seeing.

Our time on Curringa Farm, overall, was just so pleasant and too short. The owner/operators, Tim and Jane Parsons, were true salt-of-the-earth people. Despite having a thousand other tasks at hand, Tim and Jane made us feel like we were the only guests on premises. We have no doubt that we’ll be returning for an extended stay here.
