I feels like ages since I managed to get out and shoot. Between craziness at work and the little matter of moving, I feel like my poor camera has been neglected. It’s at times like these that I turn to editing images. If I can’t shoot ’em, I might as well stylize them. :)

I took this a few weeks ago with Brian Bonham. We started our day off by visiting Bridal Veil Falls. This was my first visit here and it certainly won’t be my last. We lucked out because we had the entire place pretty much to ourselves.

In terms of processing

I combined Magic Forest, Hollywood Glow and a custom Color Enhancer for the Green channel. I also masked in Tonal Contrast onto the wisps of water and rocks. All done in Perfect Effects 4 by onOne Software.

Final touches were applied in Lightroom 4.3 RC.
