Thankfully, we got home safely around 3pm yesterday and concluded an amazing two week trek around Cambodia. After about 14 hours of sleep, jet lag is in full force as I feel like I OD’d on cold medicine. I feel like I’m two feet behind myself. But, it’s a small price to pay for the sort of experiences that I had.
We’re off to catch up on errands and what not but I wanted to share an image taken one evening in Phnom Penh. It really is the nightlife that amazed me most about PP. The locals would congregate, relax, eat street food, and buy their groceries. Motorbikes zipped all around and there was a certain palpable energy that just wasn’t present when the sun was up. It was certainly a great time to roam the streets.
