The Things You See En Route

The Story

Day 2 in Cambodia continued the trend of energizing my fascination with Cambodia. We spent most of the morning at the famous Russian Market. I photographed more portraits there than I think I have in my entire life. It’s easy when everyone is so friendly and instantly flash smiles at you as soon as you point glass at them.

We followed it up with a delicious lunch and some massages to help ease the tension of lugging around an F-Stop Satori filled with gear.

Our primary mode of transportation is by tuk tuk and I absolutely love it. It is great to just lean out and start snapping images of other commuters zipping by, like these two monks. I can’t wait to visit the various wats of Cambodia and see more of these revered and beautiful people in their brilliant orange garb.

In terms of processing

Very simple here. I applied Havana, Tonal Contrast, and Hollywood Glow in Perfect Effects 4 by onOne Software.

Final touches were applied in Lightroom 4.2.
